Amanda Balionis

Alexandra Leigh LaForce, born December 11, 1988, is an American journalist also a model, beauty contestant, and winner. She's currently a reporter at Turner Sports and covers the NBA on TNT. She was the previous primary reporter at SEC college games and also a courtside reporter during basketball matches in the NCAA tournament. She also hosts We Need to Talk on CBS Sports Network. LaForce has worked as a sports reporter at WJW at Cleveland, Ohio, an FOX affiliate. For her anchoring FOX 8's Friday Night Touchdown high-school football show, she won an Emmy award in 2011. Her title was Miss Teen USA in 2005. Also, she played college Basketball player for Ohio University. LaForce began her career in pageantry following her win of she won the Miss Ohio Teen USA 2005 title. This was her first go to win this title in September 2004. LaForce took part as the representative for Ohio was a part of her first pageant, was crowned Miss Teen USA pageant 2005 was held in Baton Rouge on August 8 on, 2005. LaForce claimed her Miss Teen USA 2005 title by winning three of the competitions including evening wear, swimsuit as well as a final interview. Shelley Hennig, from Louisiana was her successor. Her mother, the late Lesa LaForce (nee Rummell), was Miss Ohio USA 1977. A scholarship was offered the opportunity to attend The School for Film and Television, New York City. Additionally, she was awarded the opportunity to model for a calendar year with Trump Modeling Management. LaForce was also able to be a part of the NBC soap opera Passions. LaForce was seen all over her United States in order to increase awareness about drug and alcohol abuse, all the while still pursuing her education at the high school in Ohio.
